As part of an ongoing acceptance and integration mentality, we aim to create a successful celebration of the gay and lesbian community open to everyone, regardless of their sexuality. At the same time, we are making sure to organize events and activities that are mostly fun and safe for gays and lesbians. Since we are organization based on volunteers, we'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us and help create the best pride celebration to date!

Out in the Okanagan was the theme for the 2008 Okanagan Gay Pride, organized by a group of enthusiastic volunteers. The summer of 2008 featured ten days of activities, ranging from a dog show, picnic, bowling, and talent show to a comedy festival, a chorus night and a cruise on the lake. And of course we got parties for everyone: the special Pride dance, a Sunday afternoon party and the smashing Evolution Club Night.
